The Peregrino FPSO will be operated in the Peregrino field, located in the Campos Basin approximately 85 kilometers offshore Brazil. The field is to be designed with the FPSO and two drilling platforms.

 

The FPSO will be operated by Maersk A/S. The 600T pulling capacity AXTech winch shall handle the disconnectable Submerged Turret Production Buoy (STP) delivered by APL. The 600T pulling winch is one of the biggest and most powerful winches delivered by AXTech up to now. The winch is specially designed for using fiber rope as pulling line.

By this delivery AXTech is strengthening its position as supplier of heavy duty lifting equipment.
