Air pressure and vacuum

Tanks open to the sea, combined with the utilisation of energy from air pressure and vacuum, enable large volumes of water to be moved in and out of the tanks rapidly. Each tank is individually and automatically controlled, eliminating the need for fluid transfer between tanks.
